The Company’s Annual Michaelmas Feast took place on Friday 25th September 2026. The Feast has origins going back over 600 years and is the oldest of any of the events that take place at the Hall.

The Governor, Professor Sarah Brown welcomed Members, Masters of other guilds and guests for the Thomas Herbert Sermon in the Chapel followed by the Feast in the Great Hall. The Sermon was preached by Reverend Canon Sue Sheriff and continues a tradition dating back 382 years to 1644. Guest of the Company, Mary Ann Mackaness presented the Preachers Purse on behalf of the Herbert family.

Below is a selection of photos from the evening, more will be added in the coming weeks.
