Thursday 17th September: 2.00pm - 4.00pm

What to expect:

Bring your favourite sketchbook and art materials and join us for a relaxed life drawing session surrounded by the beautiful historic interior of the Hall.

It’s also an opportunity to meet other creative people, connect with local artists and spend a few hours creating together.

Both of us will be there throughout the session to offer gentle artistic guidance, tips and encouragement for anyone who would like some help, while also giving people the freedom to work in their own way.

What to bring:

We’d encourage everyone to bring their favourite sketchbook and art materials — whether that’s pencils, watercolours, coloured pencils, ink or anything else they enjoy working with.

About us:

We are Anna and Yulia, two sisters and artists from Ukraine, and the founders of Clavis Mentis. We are passionate about building a creative community and helping people discover that creativity isn’t something reserved for professional artists — everyone has the ability to create.

Through our workshops and creative sessions, we want to give people the space and encouragement to explore their creativity, learn new ways of seeing and connect with other people through art.

Tickets: £5

Notes on the afternoon:

  • This is an open session, pop along at any time between 2.00pm and 4.00pm, stay for an hour or for the full session.
